Blake Anderson in Dubai is seeking an experienced Interior Designer with strong Revit skills to join a multidisciplinary design team on high-profile Middle East projects. You will support interior design delivery from concept to construction documentation, using Revit as the primary tool.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts, layouts and detailed design solutions across multiple project types.
• Produce high-quality Revit models, drawings and documentation through all project stages.
• Develop detailed interior architecture and fit-out packages, including plans, elevations, sections and finishes.
• Maintain and manage Revit models in line with BIM standards and workflows.
• Coordinate interior design information with architectural, structural, MEP and other disciplines.
• Work with senior designers, project architects and managers to meet programme and quality targets.
• Translate design concepts into technically coordinated, buildable solutions.
• Prepare FF&E layouts, finishes and material schedules.
• Assist with design presentations, specifications and tender/construction documentation.
• Review drawings and models for accuracy and coordination.
• Identify and resolve design and technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.

A leading regional multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking an experienced Interior Designer with very strong Revit skills to join its growing Dubai-based design team.The consultancy delivers a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects across the Middle East, providing the successful candidate with the opportunity to work across a mixed portfolio of commercial, hospitality, residential, retail and mixed-use developments.The Interior Designer will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality interior design projects from concept through to detailed design and construction documentation.A key requirement of the role is advanced proficiency in Revit. The successful candidate will be expected to use Revit as a primary design and documentation tool, producing accurate, coordinated and technically robust interior design packages while working closely with architects, engineers and other disciplines.This is a hands-on design and technical role suited to an Interior Designer who combines strong design sensibility with excellent technical and BIM capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts, layouts and detailed design solutions across a variety of project types.
• Produce high-quality Revit models, drawings and documentation throughout all stages of project delivery.
• Develop detailed interior architecture and fit-out packages, including plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans and detailed drawings.
• Maintain and manage Revit models in accordance with project BIM standards and established workflows.
• Coordinate interior design information with architectural, structural, MEP and specialist disciplines.
• Work closely with senior designers, project architects and project managers to deliver projects to programme and quality requirements.
• Translate design concepts into technically coordinated and buildable solutions.
• Prepare and develop FF&E layouts, finishes, material schedules and interior detailing as required.
• Assist with the preparation of design presentations, specifications and tender/construction documentation.
• Review drawings and models for accuracy, consistency and coordination.
• Identify and resolve design and technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in design coordination meetings with internal teams, consultants, clients and contractors.
• Support the development of BIM and digital design standards within the interior design team.
• Ensure all design deliverables comply with relevant codes, standards and project requirements.
• Assist with site visits, inspections and design reviews where required.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Approximately 5-10+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally within a consultancy environment.
• Proven experience delivering interior design projects from concept through to detailed design and construction documentation.
• Exceptional proficiency in Autodesk Revit is essential.
• Strong understanding of Revit modelling, families, documentation, schedules and model coordination.
• Strong knowledge of BIM workflows and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Excellent technical knowledge of interior architecture, detailing, materials and construction methods.
• Experience working on complex, large-scale projects within a multidisciplinary consultancy.
• Strong AutoCAD skills and familiarity with other relevant design software.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and presentation software.
• Ability to interpret design intent and translate concepts into detailed, technically robust documentation.
• Strong understanding of UAE/GCC construction practices and standards would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a large team and manage competing deadlines.
