Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Interior Design Inspector for our UAE project team. You will inspect interior fit-out and finishing works, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards on hospitality, residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.

Require a Bachelor's in Interior Design or related field and a minimum of 5 years in interior design supervision, with UAE experience preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD and coordination with stakeholders are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in interior design, interior architecture, architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in interior design supervision, fit-out, or construction projects.
• UAE experience within a consultancy or supervision environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect interior fit-out and finishing works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship, materials, and installation quality.
• Review material submissions, mock-ups, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and site teams to resolve site issues.
• Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Monitor progress and maintain inspection records and reports.
• Assist with snagging, de-snagging, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, QA/QC procedures, and UAE authority requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting interior fit-out and finishing works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements. Experience in hospitality, residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of interior finishes, joinery, FF&E, site inspections, and contractor coordination is essential.
