Job summary

J10 Consulting invites applications for an Interior Design and Finishes Inspector in Dubai. You will ensure interiors meet design intent, safety and regulatory standards across construction and finishing stages.

The role requires 5–8 years of interior design inspection experience, strong knowledge of UAE codes, and the ability to review plans and coordinate with stakeholders. Immediate joining on a 4-month outsourced contract is offered.

Qualifications

Job description

Our Multi National Design Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Interior Design and Finishes Inspector to join their team in Dubai. Successful candidates will have strong Interior Design, Fit out and finishing inspection experience and major project exposure in 5* hotel, hospitality and mixed use high rise towers projects and have worked for a recognised consultancy company previously. This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 4 month contract position hired as an outsource, employed by J10 Consulting.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for ensuring that interior design projects meet all quality safety and compliance standards throughout the construction and implementation phases.
• Conduct thorough inspections of interior design projects to ensure compliance with design specifications building codes and safety regulations.
• Review architectural and interior design plans to understand project scope and requirements.
• Monitor site operations to ensure that interior construction and installation are carried out according to approved designs and standards.
• Identify and document any discrepancies defects or noncompliance issues and provide actionable recommendations for corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers designers and contractors to resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain comprehensive records of inspections and compliance issues.
• Ensure adherence to quality control standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends building codes and regulations to ensure compliance and excellence in all projects.

Interior Design Inspector requirements

• Bachelors degree in Interior Design Architecture Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in site operations and interior design inspection.
• Proven experience with building codes safety regulations and quality control standards in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of interior design principles materials and construction techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
