Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Interior Design Inspector for our UAE project team. You will inspect interior fit-out and finishing works, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards on hospitality, residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.

Require a Bachelor's in Interior Design or related field and a minimum of 5 years in interior design supervision, with UAE experience preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD and coordination with stakeholders are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in interior design, interior architecture, architecture, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in interior design supervision, fit-out, or construction projects.
UAE experience within a consultancy or supervision environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect interior fit-out and finishing works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship, materials, and installation quality.
Review material submissions, mock-ups, and shop drawings.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and site teams to resolve site issues.
Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Monitor progress and maintain inspection records and reports.
Assist with snagging, de-snagging, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, QA/QC procedures, and UAE authority requirements.
