Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Interior Design Inspector for our UAE project team in Dubai. The role requires 5+ years of experience in construction supervision, focusing on interior fit-out, finishes, joinery, and FF&E, with strong coordination across contractors and site teams.

Responsibilities include inspecting works to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications, reviewing submissions, and managing QA/QC processes to meet UAE authority requirements and project standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in interior design supervision, fit-out, or construction projects.
• UAE experience within a consultancy or supervision environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of interior finishes, joinery, FF&E, and fit-out works.

• Inspect interior fit-out and finishing works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship, materials, and installation quality.
• Review material submissions, mock-ups, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and site teams to resolve site issues.
• Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Monitor progress and maintain inspection records and reports.
• Assist with snagging, de-snagging, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, QA/QC procedures, and UAE authority requirements.
