Job summary

Egis is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead interior design projects from concept through on-site supervision in Dubai, UAE. The role focuses on delivering high-quality executions, coordinating with architects and contractors, and ensuring client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential and commercial interiors, deep knowledge of Dubai codes, and proficiency in CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field required.
• Minimum 15 years of interior design experience with site supervision and consultancy exposure (5+ years).
• Proficiency in CAD software and strong knowledge of Dubai building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead interior design projects from concept to completion on-site.
• Oversee on-site implementation, ensuring quality and adherence to specs.

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer with a focus on site supervision to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will lead interior design projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality execution and client satisfaction.

• Develop innovative and functional interior design concepts for residential and commercial projects
• Oversee on-site implementation of design plans, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve design and construction issues
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any challenges
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers
• Liaise with clients to understand their needs and present design solutions
• Stay updated on industry trends, sustainable practices, and new materials

What do we need from you

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
• Minimum of 15years of experience in interior design, with a focus on site supervision and consultant experience with min 5 years
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SketchUp
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations, particularly in Dubai
• Excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Experience in sustainable design practices
• Professional certification (e.g., NCIDQ, BIID) preferred
• Willingness to work on-site in various locations across Dubai
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous
