Job summary

WSP in the Middle East seeks an Experienced Interior Design Architect to lead review and supervision of interior architectural works for UAE projects. You will ensure design compliance, quality control, and coordination with contractors and stakeholders across hospitality, commercial, and residential developments.

The role requires a strong background in interior fit-out, site supervision, and BIM-enabled workflows, supporting project handover and regulatory compliance in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design.
• 12–15 years of UAE project experience.
• Strong background in construction supervision, interior fit-out, finishing works, and design coordination.

Responsibilities

• Review and supervise interior architectural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction quality, progress, and workmanship.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, and RFIs.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, project standards, and QA/QC requirements.
• Support material approvals, snagging, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
• Prepare inspection reports and provide technical guidance throughout project delivery.

The successful candidate will lead the review and supervision of interior architectural works during construction, ensuring that all design, quality, and technical requirements are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contract documents, and local authority regulations. The role requires extensive experience in interior architecture, site supervision, design compliance, contractor coordination, material approvals, and stakeholder management across high-profile projects within the UAE.
