Job summary

Business Umbrella in Dubai is seeking an Interface Engineer to manage and coordinate interfaces between civil, structural, MEP, IT, BHS, PBB, ELV and other airport systems to ensure seamless integration. You will lead multi-disciplinary alignment, engage stakeholders from consultants, contractors, airport authorities and vendors, and develop interface registers and action plans to drive timely resolutions.

Qualifications

• Experience on major airport infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with airport-specific systems (BHS, PBB, SCADA, ELV, HVAC, FIDS, security).
• Proficient in interface management tools (BIM 360, Primavera, Aconex).

Responsibilities

• Interface Coordination: identify, define and manage interfaces between civil, structural, MEP, IT, BHS, PBB, ELV and other airport systems.

Interface Engineer

Role Summary:

An Interface Engineer in airport projects is responsible for managing and coordinating the technical and functional interfaces between multiple stakeholders systems and contractors to ensure seamless integration and delivery of complex airport infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interface Coordination: Identify define and manage interfaces between civil structural MEP IT BHS PBB ELV and other airport systems.
  

• Design Integration: Ensure alignment and compatibility between multi-disciplinary designs and packages (airside/landside terminal support facilities).
  

• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the point of contact between consultants contractors airport authorities and third-party vendors for interface-related matters.
  

• Documentation & Tracking: Develop and maintain interface registers matrices and action plans; track interface issues and drive resolution.
  

• Construction Support: Coordinate site works to resolve clashes and ensure systems are integrated as per design during execution.
  

• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all interfaces meet regulatory and operational standards (ICAO IATA local aviation codes).
  

Requirements

Experience Requirements:

• Experience working on major airport infrastructure projects (terminals runways MEP systems special airport systems).
  

• Familiarity with airport-specific systems like BHS PBB SCADA ELV HVAC FIDS and security systems.
  

• Skilled in using interface management tools and platforms (e.g. BIM 360 Primavera Aconex).
