Job summary

Wood is seeking an Instrumentation Engineer to provide specialist instrumentation and control guidance across the project lifecycle for our clients in the energy sector in Abu Dhabi. You will review contractor deliverables and ensure compliance with codes, standards and project specifications.

You will coordinate with EPC contractors and multi-disciplinary teams to resolve technical issues, maintain safety, reliability and operability of process control and field instrumentation systems, and

Review contractor deliverables for compliance with codes and standards.
Experience coordinating with EPC contractors and multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Provide specialist instrumentation and control engineering guidance across the project lifecycle.
Review and approve contractor engineering deliverables for compliance.
Ensure integrity, reliability, safety of process control and field instrumentation systems.
Develop and implement control philosophies and instrument specifications.
Monitor engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
