Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in institutional Credit Sales, Fixed Income Sales or related Markets role, preferably with exposure to MENAT credit markets.
• Strong understanding of credit products including cash bonds and derivatives.
• Knowledge of primary and secondary credit markets and financing transactions.
• Understanding of Sukuk and Sharia-based investing is advantageous.
• Experience with institutional clients or financial-market participants.
• Strong relationship-management, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day client coverage, building relationships and understanding clients’ investment objectives.
• Support senior Sales coverage across investment-grade, high-yield and Emerging Markets credit products.
• Identify and execute client opportunities, including cross-selling across Credit, Financing, Markets and Securities Services.
• Coordinate primary-market transactions and support secondary-market activity with market insight and content.
• Collaborate with Sales, Trading, Debt Syndicate, Research, Global Banking, Operations and Relationship Managers for effective execution.
• Maintain accurate records of client communications and transactions, resolving issues promptly.
• Operate within HSBC’s control framework and comply with regulatory requirements, AML, sanctions and market conduct.
• Collaborate across regional and global teams to share client and market insight and foster an inclusive culture.
