Job summary

KONE UAE is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to ensure product and process quality across projects in Dubai. You will monitor, report, and drive improvements in CTQ metrics, lead non-conformity investigations, and support internal audits and environment performance programs.

The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering or science, 3–5 years in QA or operational excellence, strong analytical skills, proficiency in MS Office, and excellent communication in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science, preferably Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Management Systems, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence.
• Experience in the elevator and escalator industry is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office and analytical tools is mandatory.
• Knowledge of QMS and EMS is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Register, monitor, and manage customer complaints and compliments in designated systems.
• Support operations in monitoring and following up on CLS and CTS results.
• Monitor, analyze, and report key quality performance indicators.
• Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, and ad hoc quality reports to stakeholders.
• Follow up and drive closure of non-conforming cases within timelines.
• Investigate CoPQ cases and implement corrective and preventive actions with operations.
• Escalate quality concerns and ensure timely resolution.
• Assist in root cause analysis and escalate to factory when required.
• Support Internal Quality and Environmental Audits and drive improvements.
• Support planning and scheduling of Monthly departmental meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Register, monitor, and manage customer complaints and compliments in the designated systems.


• Support operations in monitoring and following up on Customer Loyalty Survey (CLS) and Customer Transaction Survey (CTS) results.


• Monitor, analyze, and report key quality performance indicators


• Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, and ad hoc quality reports to relevant stakeholders.


• Follow up and drive closure of all non-conforming cases within agreed timelines.


• Investigate Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) cases and collaborate with operational teams to establish corrective and preventive actions.


• Escalate quality concerns and ensure timely resolution.


• Assist in root cause analysis and investigation of technical concerns, ensuring appropriate escalation to the factory when required.


• Support the planning, execution, and follow-up of Internal Quality and Environmental Audits.


• Support in Driving the process improvement initiatives aimed at reducing defects, improving efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction.


• Support in Conducting SQE inductions and other refresher training programs for employees and operatives.


• Support in Environmental Parameters reporting.


• Support in planning and scheduling of Monthly departmental meeting.

Qualification And Skills Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.


• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Management Systems, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence.


• Experience in the elevator and escalator industry is not mandatory but would be highly advantageous.


• Previous knowledge about using MS Office and other analytical tools is mandatory.


• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS) would be an added advantage.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.


• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.


• Effective communication and presentation skills.


• High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.


• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.


• Fluent in written and spoken English.
