Job summary

Otis L.L.C in Dubai is seeking an experienced Installation Operations Manager to lead installation activities across the UAE region. You will oversee site construction progress, equipment checking and storage, and conduct safety audits while coordinating manpower according to project delivery plans.

You will liaise with client site engineers, guide teams to verify equipment against documents, supervise installation teams, report progress against the plan, and train and coach junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 year of relevant experience in field operations in a construction/engineering organization.
• Fluent written and spoken English essential; Arabic preferred.
• Interprets or explains data or information to deliver messages to audiences about complex subject matter.

Responsibilities

• Provide management information and insights on area performance for discussion and decision making.
• Follow departmental policies, processes, SOPs, and instructions to ensure controlled, consistent work.
• Study project requirements and accordingly make manpower requisitions.
• Distribute tasks to team members by the organizational plan.
• Liaise with site engineers at client sites for safe storage of material and tools.
• Guide the team to check lift/elevator equipment against documents and report damages or shortages.
• Supervise the Installation/Adjuster teams and track time sheets to report progress.
• Conduct site visits to verify progress and advise client on discrepancies between drawings and work.
• Conduct safety audits at client sites to minimize safety concerns.
• Notify Finance about work stages to enable timely invoicing per contracts.
