Job summary

Otis L.L.C. on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, seeks an experienced Project Coordinator/Engineer to manage pre-installation, installation, and liaison with main contractors for elevator/escalator projects.

The role requires fluency in English and Chinese, strong communication, and the ability to drive cross-functional tasks across logistics, design, and site teams. Knowledge of MS Projects/Primavera a plus; UAE-based applicants preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-year elevator industry experience.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.
• Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects.
• Comfortable using Microsoft-based software.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-installation works, ensure information, plan material deliveries, and award purchase orders with PM and supply chain.
• Coordinate with main contractors and design teams on shop drawings, submittals, samples, method statements and ITP approvals.
• Plan logistics for safe, timely deliveries of escalator and elevator material; report to MC; manage variations.
• Oversee installation phase with resources, inspections, QA/QC, and interfaces with low voltage devices.
• Coordinate with internal departments on deliveries and budget; monitor progress and issues.
