Position Overview

Inspector - Electrical Buildings ensures safety, quality, and compliance of electrical systems on building projects in Dubai through site inspections, testing, and coordination with contractors and engineering supervision teams in line with approved drawings, specifications, and codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and understand electrical packages, drawings, specifications, and health and safety requirements including updates
• Verify contractor compliance with contract documents through inspection, measurement, testing, and QA tracking
• Maintain daily records of contractor manpower, equipment, and site activities
• Undertake site supervision and inspections as instructed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer
• Document observed activities, locations, methods, personnel, and equipment used within assigned areas
• Report on materials deliveries and implement site instructions issued by project leadership
• Apply and enforce site quality control and quality assurance procedures
• Prepare site measurements and basic surveying checks as required
• Monitor compliance with quality, performance, and code requirements during inspections
• Monitor health and safety practices on site and report violations immediately
• Review electrical installation methodologies and verify alignment with approved design requirements
• Support inspections across mixed-use, residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and infrastructure developments
• Prepare clear and concise inspection reports in written English
• Coordinate with project teams to address non-conformances and follow corrective actions
