Job summary

Amazon Inc. in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Lab Assistant (UAE National) to run day-to-day administrative operations in the Innovation Lab at AUH1 Fulfillment Center.

You will support testing programs, project logistics, and vendor coordination to ensure smooth execution. Core responsibilities include conducting internal lab tests across Operations, Safety, Ergonomics, ACES, MHE, and package quality, managing documentation and lab space, and raising purchase orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience troubleshooting and documenting findings or handling customer problems under pressure.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Administer multiple concurrent projects, ensuring milestones and timelines are met.
• Perform physical testing and evaluation of new equipment, tools, and materials.
• Identify, engage, and manage new vendors to build MENA's vendor base for automation equipment.
• Serve as lab coordinator for all internal and external visits, ensuring a professional environment.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and dashboards using Microsoft Office tools.
• Escalate issues proactively and communicate status to the Operations Integration team.
