Job summary

Amazon UAE is seeking an Automation Lab Technician in Dubai to support the development and testing of automation technologies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency. This role involves close collaboration with the Operations Integration team for project administration, equipment testing, and conducting prototype validations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related technical discipline.
• Basic knowledge of automation systems, control systems, or conveyor equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple operational projects and testing activities simultaneously.
• Experience supporting engineering trials, prototype development, or equipment validation.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple automation and operational improvement projects across testing and pilot phases.
• Coordinate purchase orders, vendor communication, and delivery tracking for project equipment.
• Assist operations teams during pilot trials by providing on-floor project support and monitoring performance.
• Prepare concept layouts and equipment designs using AutoCAD or similar design tools.
