Job summary

Wasael Property Management is seeking a Senior Materials Engineer to oversee selection, testing, and quality assurance of construction materials for municipal infrastructure in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure compliance with standards, sustainability, and regulatory requirements while supporting durable, cost-effective assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Master's degree in Materials Engineering or related field preferred.
• Professional certifications (PE/CEng/CQE or equivalent) are advantageous.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in materials engineering for infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evaluation, approval, and quality assurance of materials used in roads, transportation, bridges, and utilities.
• Review and approve material submittals, technical specifications, mix designs, and testing reports.
• Provide expert technical advice on material selection, durability, constructability, and lifecycle performance.
• Establish and update materials standards, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Monitor material performance and support asset management and sustainability initiatives.
