Job summary

MediaSource FZC is seeking a Senior Materials Engineer in Abu Dhabi to oversee the selection, testing, and QA of construction materials for municipal, road, and utility infrastructure. The role ensures compliance with standards and sustainability targets while supporting safe, durable and cost-efficient assets.

The candidate will lead material evaluations, approve submittals, and mentor teams, with responsibility for asset integrity and continuous improvement across capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, materials, or related engineering field.
• Master's degree preferred in materials, pavement, or transportation engineering.
• PE/CEng or equivalent professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation, approval, and QA of materials for roads, bridges, tunnels, and utilities.
• Review submittals, specifications, mix designs, and testing reports from consultants and contractors.
• Provide expert guidance on material selection, durability, constructability, and lifecycle performance.
• Develop and update material standards, specs, and acceptance criteria.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure installation quality and compliance.
