Job summary

The InterContinental Hotels Group Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina is seeking a dedicated Food & Beverage Assistant (In Room Dining) to join our enthusiastic team. You will provide professional service to guests, ensuring a memorable in-room dining experience and maintaining high standards throughout service.

Ideally you have 1–2 years in a similar role within a luxury hotel, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with colleagues from diverse cultures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role within a four- or five-star hotel or comparable industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with teams from different cultures and deliver high-quality service.
• High performance standards with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Perform all necessary tasks to service food & beverage according to the hotel’s standard operating procedures.
• Greet and seat guests, serving in a professional, discreet and personalized manner.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of the In Room Dining menu to assist and advise guests.
• Monitor quality of food & beverage being served.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards in the outlet and with service equipment.
• Handle service preparations before, during and after service (mis-en-place & mis-en-scene).
• Answer calls professionally per SOP.
