Job summary

ADNOC Group is seeking a senior leader to develop and refine the In-Country Value (ICV) strategy and execution, aimed at diversifying the UAE economy and Emiratisation. You will liaison with government authorities, suppliers and internal teams to drive ICV targets across key categories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
• 15 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in Oil & Gas or related industries
• Strategy-focused general management with emphasis on procurement and business development
• Understanding of local supply chain or procurement at locations with ICV requirements
• Understanding of procurement processes to unlock localisation barriers
• Technical knowledge to assess category requirements and flexibilities
• Business development experience to develop/support local suppliers
• Ability to understand local laws, regulations and policy expectations
• Strong communication skills to explain ICV strategy to stakeholders
• Leadership, teamwork, and change-management capabilities

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, implement and refine ICV strategy, policy and procedures.
• Drive design and development of the ICV program in consultation with stakeholders.
• Engage with ADNOC suppliers, business organizations and government bodies to promote ICV.
• Identify business opportunities to fill UAE supply chain gaps and communicate them to the UAE business community.
• Coordinate with category management and procurement planning teams to forecast ICV potential.
• Communicate ICV strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support ICV Execution Department with inputs for tenders and supplier negotiations.
• Interact with UAE government organizations and other bodies to support program development.
• Obtain feedback from ICV Execution and adjust guidelines as needed.
• Act as an ambassador for ADNOC ICV at events and forums.
