Job summary

Duncan & Ross seeks an experienced ICAPS Administrator to manage commissioning databases, data and documentation for major EPC projects in the oil & gas sector. The role covers ICAPS setup, procedure development, and training support for Dubai-based teams and international sites.

You will coordinate data transfers, ensure compliance, generate progress reports, and assist with handover documentation (TOM). Strong IT and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience as ICAPS Administrator or Super User on large-scale EPC projects (oil & gas / petrochemical).
• Proficient in OPERCOM methodology and its practical application for project commissioning.
• Proven experience in complete project completion documentation management and international documentation delivery standards.
• Middle East project experience preferred, particularly in Iraq or TotalEnergies projects.
• Excellent data management and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong IT literacy and problem-solving skills for software-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Initialize project structure, task types, test packs and workflows based on the project system breakdown.
• Develop and maintain the ICAPS Management Procedure and Data Initialization Files.
• Support the Commissioning Manager with development of commissioning deliverables.
• Plan, compile and organize pre-commissioning and commissioning dossiers per OPERCOM methodology.
• Prepare the complete and compliant Completion Documentation Package for final handover.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced ICAPS Administrator Commissioning to support commissioning database management and completion documentation activities. The candidate will manage the ICAPS system coordinate commissioning data and documentation support OPERCOM methodology implementation and ensure accurate and compliant completion documentation for final handover.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and maintain the ICAPS master database within the Contractors network and the Companys read-only database.
• Initialize project structure task types test packs and workflows based on the project system breakdown.
• Develop and maintain the ICAPS Management Procedure and Data Initialization Files.
• Support the Commissioning Manager with the development of commissioning deliverables as assigned.
• Manage the import and synchronization of engineering data into the ICAPS database.
• Control database updates resulting from design changes and track the status of commissioning procedures and documents.
• Provide ICAPS and OPERCOM methodology training to the project team in Dubai / Iraq.
• Act as the primary technical support for daily ICAPS operation.
• Conduct regular joint ICAPS database reviews with the Company team.
• Generate commissioning progress reports and forecasts based on real-time ICAPS data.
• Establish and maintain the project completion database and ensure integration with ICAPS and engineering databases.
• Plan compile and organize pre-commissioning and commissioning dossiers in accordance with the OPERCOM methodology.
• Prepare the complete and compliant Completion Documentation Package for final handover (TOM Transfer of Operation & Maintenance).
• Perform other relevant duties and tasks as assigned by the Commissioning Manager.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree or above in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology Project Management or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an ICAPS Administrator or Super User on large-scale international EPC projects preferably in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical projects.
• Proficient in the OPERCOM methodology and its practical application in project commissioning.
• Proficient in the latest version of ICAPS software with full lifecycle experience from setup and configuration through training and delivery.
• Proven experience in complete project completion documentation management and international project documentation delivery standards.
• Middle East project experience preferred particularly in Iraq or on TotalEnergies projects.
• Excellent data management and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong IT literacy and problem-solving skills for software-related technical issues.
