Job summary

Minor Hotels is seeking a Hygiene and Stewarding Supervisor for Avani Ibn Battuta Dubai Hotel. You will lead the Hygiene Team, ensure high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene across all F&B spaces, and actively participate in HACCP and FSMS policy implementation.

You will supervise hygiene operations, coordinate with outlets, and drive training and safety initiatives to maintain a premier guest experience in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Hygiene Team as first line Hygiene Team Leader to ensure hygiene schedules and high standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across Food & Beverage areas and uphold food safety practices.
• Supervise the hygiene team during contracted hours and support continuous improvement.
• Identify and resolve difficulties as they arise to maintain service quality.
• Oversee sanitation, cleanliness, and asset management of outlet facilities.
• Conduct monthly preventive maintenance inspections of equipment and areas.
• Lead departmental training, develop SOPs, HACCP documentation, and FSMS policy content.
• Respond to audit reports and implement corrective actions within agreed timelines.
• Supervise stewarding duties, ensure floors/work areas are hazard-free and well-organized.
• Arrange cleaning equipment storage, PPE compliance, waste segregation, and stock rotation.
