Job summary

Freelan Contract in Dubai seeks a Hygiene Supervisor to oversee hygiene operations and ensure compliance with health and safety standards across facilities. You will lead a team of cleaners, manage inventories, and drive sanitation program improvements.

The role requires 3+ years in a supervisory hygiene/janitorial setting, strong organizational and leadership skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. You will coordinate with departments to schedule tasks and maintain records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in a hygiene or janitorial setting.
• Strong knowledge of hygiene and sanitation procedures and regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement hygiene and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Train and supervise a team of hygiene staff, including cleaners and janitors.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure all areas are clean and up to company standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to schedule cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Respond to and resolve any hygiene-related issues or complaints.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records and reports on cleaning activities and expenses.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to hygiene staff.
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the hygiene department.
• Keep up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for hygiene and sanitation.
