Job summary

Info Resume Edge in Abu Dhabi seeks a CloudOps / SysOps Engineer to manage Azure and on‑prem infrastructure. You will implement IaC with ARM templates, Bicep or Terraform, monitor VMs, VNets, storage, backups, and security controls, and support Azure DevOps pipelines end‑to‑end.

The role includes Windows/Linux administration, virtualization (Hyper‑V/VMware), backups, disaster recovery, incident response, and cross‑team collaboration for secure deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Azure infrastructure including VMs, VNets, load balancers, storage, and Azure AD.
• Proficient in infrastructure as code using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Experience with Azure Backup, Site Recovery, and cost management tools.
• Familiar with Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD implementations.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Security Center and Defender for Cloud and compliance policies.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
• Experience with virtualization environments (Hyper-V/VMware) and on‑prem backups.
• Strong automation and scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).

Responsibilities

• Automate routine system tasks using PowerShell, Bash or Python.
• Ensure proper monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor, SCOM or third‑party platforms.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing and execution.
• Respond to incidents, root cause analysis and documentation of procedures.
• Collaborate with development, security and support teams to ensure smooth deployments and secure environments.
