Job summary

CoreAxis is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure for enterprise solutions. You will work across development, staging, and production, building CI/CD pipelines, and implementing IaC with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Azure experience across compute, networking and storage.
• Proficiency in IaC using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of cloud security, identity management, and monitoring.
• Certifications in Azure are preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment.

We are hiring an Azure Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting our enterprise solutions. You will work with DevOps pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and Azure-native services to ensure high availability, security, and performance for client environments across development, staging, and production.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy Azure infrastructure (App Services, Functions, AKS, SQL, Virtual Networks) for client projects.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for automated deployments.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Monitor and optimise cloud environments for cost, performance, and reliability.
• Implement security best practices including identity management (Azure AD/Entra ID), RBAC, and network policies.
• Support disaster-recovery planning, backup strategies, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with development and integration teams to ensure cloud-ready application architectures.
• Document infrastructure designs, runbooks, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure (compute, networking, storage, databases).
• Proficiency in at least one IaC tool: Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Understanding of cloud security practices, identity management, and monitoring/alerting (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
• Familiarity with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS) is a strong plus.
• Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-400) are preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment.
