Job summary

Qode is seeking an experienced Network Engineer in Dubai to manage hybrid infrastructure and cloud networking across on‑premises and Azure environments. You will design secure network architectures, manage firewalls, VPNs, and routing, and collaborate with security teams to meet regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes governance, incident response, and cross‑functional teamwork with IT and business units in a banking/FS context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, network engineering or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years of enterprise network and security experience in regulated industries such as banking/FS.
• Experience designing and operating Azure networking with hub-and-spoke architectures.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, firewall technologies, and WAN/LAN infra.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain network and security; install/configure routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Design and operate Azure network connectivity and cloud governance.
• Coordinate with MSPs/SOC/NOC and manage vendor relationships and change control.
• Monitor performance, diagnose issues, and perform root-cause analysis and capacity planning.
• Document network topology, firewall rules, and security configurations.
