Job summary

Anantara Hotels & Resorts is seeking an HVAC technician for Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara. The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a luxury setting, and documented technical training.

You will read blueprints and electrical schematics, troubleshoot, repair, and train junior staff as needed. Responsibilities include maintaining HVAC systems, identifying risks, performing emergency repairs, and ensuring safety and quality standards across hotel departments.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years operating experience in a similar capacity, preferably with Luxury Brand Experience.
• Appropriate documented training from a technical/vocational institute.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Familiar with operations and priorities of other hotel operating departments.
• Strong commitment to teamwork and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair HVAC systems and equipment.
• Identify maintenance risks on equipment.
• Diagnose faults in HVAC systems (electrical and mechanical).
• Clean, adjust and repair systems; perform warranty services.
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Provide technical direction and on-the-job training.
• Keep daily logs of maintenance functions.
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and safety regulations.
• Assist with customer queries.
