Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer – Aftermarket, Modernization in Abu Dhabi to drive HVAC modernization and retrofit opportunities. You will manage the full sales cycle from opportunity development to order closure, addressing energy efficiency and asset modernization for customers.

The role requires strong HVAC knowledge, a commercial mindset, and ability to develop value-based solutions, with a focus on reliability and sustainability for building systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the HVAC industry.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems: chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, and controls.
• Proven ability to manage full sales cycles from opportunity to order.
• Based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Identify and convert HVAC modernization and retrofit opportunities across assigned markets.
• Build relationships with building owners, consultants, contractors, and facility managers.
• Lead end-to-end sales process including proposals and negotiations.
• Coordinate technical and commercial proposals with engineering, service, operations, and other teams.
• Forecast accurately and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
