Carrier in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Sales Engineer – Aftermarket, Modernization to drive HVAC modernization and retrofit initiatives. You will identify opportunities, develop technical solutions, and manage proposals, negotiations, and order closure with a focus on energy efficiency and asset modernization.

Strong HVAC expertise and customer-facing skills are essential. The role requires partnering with engineering and service teams to deliver value-based solutions for customers and to maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC industry, preferably sales, aftermarket, retrofit, modernization, or project business.
• Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, controls, and related systems.
• Good understanding of HVAC retrofit, replacement, and modernization projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage full sales cycle.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• Valid UAE driving license and own car for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop HVAC modernization and retrofit opportunities across markets and customer segments.
• Build and maintain relationships with building owners, consultants, contractors, and facility managers.
• Conduct meetings and site visits to assess HVAC systems and modernization requirements.
• Develop value-based technical solutions focusing on reliability, energy efficiency, and lifecycle cost reduction.
• Lead the full sales process from opportunity to order closure.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals with internal teams.
