Job summary

Oil & Gas Manufacturing Co. in Dubai is seeking an HVAC Engineer/Lead HVAC Engineer with extensive design experience in modular technical buildings.

The role requires familiarity with Carrier HAP, AutoCAD, and 3D software, along with strong knowledge of HVAC standards. The candidate should have at least 12 years of experience and will lead design efforts, review vendor deliverables, and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely, cost-effective deliverables for the oil & gas manufacturing

Qualifications

• HVAC design experience in modular technical buildings.
• Proficient with Carrier HAP.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD/3D software preferred.
• Familiar with ASHRAE, CIBSE, SMACNA standards.

Responsibilities

• Propose economical HVAC solutions meeting client and project requirements.
• Develop timely and cost-effective HVAC deliverables from client information and specifications.
• Prepare datasheets, HVACHL calculations, HVAC design philosophy, and control philosophy.
• Review vendor deliverables such as GA drawings, refrigerant schematics, and equipment selections.
• Prepare CRS for revised submissions and engineering calculations (ESP, ventilation, fresh air, U-value, duct heater).
• Prepare RFQ/TBE and select vendors for PO.
• Design and select equipment suitable for hazardous area projects and provide construction support.
• Coordinate with projects team and attend project meetings (internal and client).
• Assist procurement with OEM/endor offers reviews and approvals.
• Submit as-built drawings after I-FAT.

• Design software's like Carrier HAP
• Knowledge in Autocad/3D Software preferred
• Strong understanding of HVAC discipline.
• Familiarity with industry standards ASHRAE, CIBSE, SMACNA
• Minimum experience : 12 years

Job Responsibilities ;

• Propose economic solutions meeting the client/project requirements.
• To develop timely and cost-effective HVAC deliverable based on client given information, specifications.
• Preparation of deliverables like Datasheets, HVACHL Calculations, HVAC Desing Philosophy,
• HVAC Control Philosophy, HVAC I0 list, HVAC D&ID, HVAC AFD.
• Review and approval of vendor deliverables like HVAC equipment GA, Refrigerant Schematic, Fan selection, equipment selection.
• Preparing necessary CRS for revised submission of documents.
• Preparation of engineering calculations such as ESP, Ventilations, Fresh Air, U value, duct heater.
• Preparing RFQ, TBE and selection of vendor for placing PO.
• Design and selection of equipment's/instruments suitable for project Hazardous area requirements.
• Explain the deliverable to construction team and provide construction support as necessary.
• HVAC Estimation for the bids and coordination with stakeholders to gather all the required information for right estimation
• Coordination with Projects team for smooth running of the project.
• Attend daily, weekly project meetings. internal and with client
• Procurement support -Review and approval of OEM/endor offers as per project specification.
• As-built drawing submission of OEM/endor deliverables after completion of I-FAT.
• Any other responsibility as deemed necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range : AED 15,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
