Job summary

Dusit Ajman Resort & Villas is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to oversee all Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems across the property in Ajman. The role ensures guest and staff comfort through efficient, reliable, and energy‑savvy HVAC operations.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 5–8 years in HVAC, preferably in hospitality. Responsibilities include maintenance, optimization, and coordination with engineers and hotel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of HVAC experience, preferably in hotels, resorts, or large facilities.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation).
• Hands-on troubleshooting and system optimization.
• Experience in energy management and cost control is an advantage.
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all HVAC operations across guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, and back‑of‑house facilities.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Ensure optimal performance of chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, cooling towers, and related systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and energy‑saving initiatives.
• Monitor system performance and ensure quick response to breakdowns and emergencies.
• Supervise external contractors.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, local regulations, and hotel policies.
• Manage HVAC spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs, and energy consumption reports.
• Support capital projects, system upgrades, and refurbishments.
• Coordinate closely with other engineering disciplines and hotel departments.
