Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced HVAC Design Engineer to design and develop HVAC systems for interior fit-out projects in the UAE. You will perform cooling and heat load calculations, equipment selection, duct and pipe sizing, and prepare detailed shop drawings and technical submissions.

Ideal candidates have 4–8 years of HVAC design experience, preferably within UAE interior fit-out contexts, with strong AutoCAD skills and knowledge of Revit MEP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4-8 years of HVAC design experience, UAE preferred.
• UAE Interior Fit-Out experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in commercial/retail/F&B/hospitality/interior fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC design, cooling/heat load calculations, duct design, chilled water systems.
• Experience in shop drawings, technical submissions, material submittals, calculations, and approvals.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop HVAC systems for Interior Fit-Out projects.
• Perform cooling/heat load calculations, equipment selection, duct and pipe sizing, ventilation calculations.
• Prepare HVAC shop drawings, technical submissions, and calculations.
• Coordinate HVAC design with Interior Design, Architecture, Electrical, Plumbing, and other MEP disciplines.
• Review consultant/client comments and incorporate design revisions.
• Provide technical support to Project Engineers during installation and resolve site issues.
• Conduct site visits to verify conditions and service routes.
• Assist with testing, commissioning, and final handover.
