Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC and plumbing design for UAE projects. You will design HVAC and plumbing systems, prepare calculations and drawings, and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include reviewing documentation, conducting site inspections, and supporting testing and commissioning. Proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of Revit MEP are advantageous for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 4–5 years UAE experience in HVAC and Plumbing design.
• Strong knowledge of ASHRAE standards and UAE/local regulations.
• Experience with Abu Dhabi authority requirements and approval procedures is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP/BIM is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop HVAC systems for residential, commercial, industrial, and other building projects.
• Design plumbing, water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems.
• Prepare HVAC and plumbing design calculations, layouts, schematics, and detailed drawings.
• Prepare equipment schedules, pipe sizing, duct sizing, pressure-drop calculations, and other design documentation.
• Coordinate mechanical services with architectural, structural, electrical, and other MEP disciplines.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction.
• Coordinate and respond to authority comments and requirements.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of HVAC and plumbing systems.
