Job summary

ZMC Express Cargo is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the HR function in Dubai. The candidate will bring strong UAE labor regulatory knowledge, proven recruitment and employee management experience, and the ability to build HR processes that support growth.

The role requires overseeing HR strategy, onboarding, compliance, performance management, compensation and benefits, and HR analytics while coordinating with operations, finance and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
• Master’s degree (preferred).
• HR-related professional qualification (e.g., SHRM/ CIPD / HRCI) (preferred).
• Minimum 5–8 years of progressive HR experience.
• At least 2–4 years of HR experience in the UAE (UAE labor/HR compliance exposure required).
• Experience covering recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, and HR compliance.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labor law and MOHRE documentation requirements.

Job Specifications

Education & Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
• Master’s degree (preferred).
• HR-related professional qualification (e.g., SHRM/ CIPD / HRCI) (preferred).

Experience

• Minimum 5–8 years of progressive HR experience.
• At least 2–4 years of HR experience in the UAE (UAE labor/HR compliance exposure required).
• Experience covering some or all of: recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, and HR compliance.

Knowledge & Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of UAE labor law and relevant regulations (MOHRE and documentation requirements).

Solid understanding of:

• end-to-end recruitment and onboarding

• HR documentation and recordkeeping
• Proficient with HR systems/HRIS and HR reporting (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets; ERP/HR platforms preferred).

• Willingness to coordinate with external parties (PRO/immigration vendors, payroll, insurance, training providers) as required.

• Works closely with: Operations/Department Heads, Finance, Payroll, Legal/Compliance (as applicable), and external vendors

Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
• Experience implementing HR policies and procedures, with knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulatory requirements.
• Skills in workforce planning, organizational development, and change management within a fast-paced, logistics or similar environment.
• Ability to handle HR data, maintain accurate records, and use HRIS or similar systems for reporting and analytics.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.
• Proven capability in coaching managers, supporting employee development, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is an advantage.
• Previous experience in an HR management or senior HR generalist role, ideally within logistics, transportation, or related industries.
