Job summary

Houger International in Dubai seeks an empathetic HR Generalist to manage the full employee lifecycle and support a multinational workforce. You will own recruitment, onboarding, payroll input, employee relations, performance processes, and HR operations while ensuring UAE labour law compliance.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in HR, knowledge of UAE regulations, strong communication, and a degree in HR or related field; SHRM/CIPD is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist role.
• Broad knowledge of core HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
• Understanding of UAE labour law and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport and trust.
• High level of professionalism and discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment, from drafting descriptions to interviewing and offers.
• Develop and facilitate onboarding programs to integrate new hires into Houger culture.
• Act as trusted point of contact for employees and managers on HR policies and inquiries.
• Administer employee benefits, payroll input, and maintain accurate HRIS records; ensure UAE compliance.
• Support annual performance review cycles with goal setting and development planning.
• Partner with leadership to plan initiatives that strengthen company culture and engagement.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Talent Acquisition: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from drafting job descriptions and sourcing candidates to interviewing and extending offers, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Onboarding and Integration: Develop and facilitate a comprehensive onboarding program that successfully integrates new hires into the Houger culture and sets them up for success.
• Employee Relations: Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, addressing inquiries, and helping to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• HR Operations: Administer employee benefits, manage payroll input, maintain accurate employee records in our HRIS, and ensure compliance with UAE labour law.
• Performance Management: Support the annual performance review cycle, assisting managers and employees with goal setting, feedback, and professional development planning.
• Culture and Engagement: Partner with leadership to plan and implement initiatives that strengthen our company culture and enhance employee engagement and well-being.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, CIPD).
• Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
