Job summary

wuduh is seeking an HR Generalist to manage day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle in the UAE. The role emphasizes recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, attendance, and employee relations within regulatory guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have UAE HR experience, strong English communication, and hands-on ZenHR and MS Office proficiency. The position is based in Dubai Media City, Abu Dhabi familiarity welcomed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, Management, or related field.
  • 3–5 years in a UAE-based organization.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts is a MUST.
  • Hands-on experience with ZenHR is a major advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and offer preparation.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
  • Ensure all hiring documentation is completed and maintained accurately.

  • Manage and maintain HRIS data accuracy and reporting.
  • Support payroll processing, data changes, and deductions in alignment with policies.
  • Oversee benefits administration and respond to inquiries.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with UAE labor laws and company policies.
  • Monitor attendance, leave, and time records; assist managers with inquiries.

Job description

Job Objectives:

The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for supporting and managing a broad range of day-to-day HR operations throughout the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through employee administration, payroll, benefits, attendance, employee relations, and offboarding.

The role requires a strong practical understanding of UAE employment laws and regulations, HR policies and procedures, and HR best practices. The position requires someone who can work independently, manage multiple HR activities simultaneously, and ensure that HR processes are accurately maintained and aligned with company policies and applicable UAE regulations.

Responsibilities and duties:
1. Recruitment and Onboarding
  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and offer preparation.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
  • Ensure all hiring documentation is completed and maintained accurately.
2. Employee Relations
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and HR-related concerns.
  • Support managers in addressing employee performance, conduct, and workplace issues.
  • Assist in conducting investigations and resolving employee relations matters in accordance with company policies.
3. HR Systems and Reporting
  • Manage and maintain HR information systems (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Support users with HR system inquiries and coordinate required updates.
  • Generate HR reports and analyze workforce data to support decision-making.
4. Compensation and Benefits
  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, allowances, deductions, overtime, incentives, final settlements, and other payroll-related transactions.
  • Maintain and validate employee payroll data and ensure all relevant changes and transactions are accurately reflected in the payroll system.
  • Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure payroll is processed accurately, in compliance with company policies and applicable requirements, and within established timelines.
  • Manage employee benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries related to compensation, payroll, and benefits.
  • Support compensation reviews, salary administration, and the implementation of approved salary adjustments and compensation changes.
5. Compliance and Policy Management
  • Ensure HR practices comply with applicable labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Support policy implementation and communicate updates to employees and management.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and sensitive HR matters.
6. Attendance, Leave & Time Management
  • Monitor and administer employee attendance, working hours, shifts, overtime, late arrivals, early departures, absences, and leave records.
  • Ensure attendance records are accurately maintained and appropriately reflected in payroll.
  • Assist employees and managers with attendance and leave-related inquiries.
  • Review attendance irregularities and coordinate with managers to resolve discrepancies.
7. Employee Benefits & Medical Insurance
  • Coordinate the company's medical insurance process, including employee enrolments, additions, deletions, renewals, and updates.
  • Liaise with insurance providers and brokers regarding employee medical insurance.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Recruitment cycle time and onboarding completion.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of HR transactions.
  • Employee satisfaction with HR services.
  • HRIS data accuracy and reporting quality.
  • Compliance with labor regulations and company policies.
  • Timely resolution of employee inquiries and HR cases.
Required Qualifications & Experience
