Job summary

Al-Futtaim is seeking an HSSE Officer to enforce Health, Safety, Security and Environmental standards across all sites and to identify hazards, improve safety processes, and participate in audits. The role includes maintaining documentation and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities cover loss prevention, security management, emergency preparedness, documentation, regulatory compliance, and development through training and certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Sustainability, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in HSSE or Security.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Increase hazard identification and reporting through regular inspections and committee meetings.
• Reduce preventable incidents by implementing corrective and preventative measures.
• Participate in HSSE compliance audits and record findings.
• Ensure efficient security operations and conduct site verifications.
• Organize monthly Fire Safety Inspections and Emergency Evacuation Exercises.
• Maintain updated HSSE records, certifications, and equipment inventory.
• Stay updated on local and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
• Pursue training opportunities and obtain necessary HSSE certifications.
