Job summary

Al-Futtaim is seeking an HSSE Officer to ensure health, safety, security, and environmental controls across sites in Dubai. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, hazard management, emergency preparedness, and collaboration with site teams and authorities.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in HSE-related field, at least 1 year of HSSE experience, and strong documentation and reporting skills. Arabic and English proficiency are required, with frequent site travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Sustainability, or related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in HSSE, workplace safety, security, or related operational environment preferred.
• Fluent English reading, writing and speaking; Arabic reading and speaking capability required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect assigned sites daily and address hazards promptly.
• Work with Site Safety Committees to strengthen hazard identification and reporting.
• Implement corrective and preventive measures to reduce incidents.
• Participate in HSSE compliance audits and track actions to closure.
• Review daily security operations against procedures and competency standards.
• Act as initial focal point for incident reporting and follow-up investigations.
• Coordinate monthly Emergency Response Team meetings and ensure readiness of emergency equipment.
