Position Overview

The HSSE Compliance Officer role at Al-Futtaim Dubai supports the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, security, and environmental standards across group operations. This position focuses on inspections, audits, reporting, and regulatory compliance to ensure safe workplaces and continuous improvement in HSSE performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct HSSE inspections and audits to identify risks and hazards across business units
• Participate in inspections as assigned and prepare detailed reports with recommendations
• Update inspection and audit formats and analyze HSSE data to identify trends
• Track inspections, action plans, incidents, and investigations to closure
• Submit weekly and monthly HSSE progress reports within defined timelines
• Maintain incident reporting processes and ensure timely escalation within 24 hours
• Stay current with HSSE regulations, standards, and best practices and communicate updates
• Maintain document control systems and HSSE databases for projects and activities
• Support meetings, inspection calendars, and coordination with service providers
• Liaise with authorities including Civil Defense, Police, and SIRA for certifications and approvals
• Manage procurement requests, payments tracking, petty cash, and credit card controls
• Support HSSE coverage during officer or manager absences and maintain confidentiality
• Adhere to company policies, codes of conduct, schedules, and HSSE guidelines

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Minimum three years of experience in HSSE compliance or a similar role
• HSSE-related certification is preferred
• Strong knowledge of HSSE regulations and industry standards
• Excellent report writing, communication, and data analysis skills
• Proficiency with Excel and HSSE management tools
