Job summary

Excel Industry Co LLC is seeking an experienced HSE professional to lead risk assessments, develop policies, and manage ISO 45001/14001 compliant systems at our Ajman site.

The ideal candidate holds NEBOSH/IOSH, a Bachelor's or Diploma in OHS, 5+ years in heavy industry, and a UAE driving license. You will conduct audits, incident investigations, and training to strengthen safety culture across Production and Safety teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• NEBOSH certification or equivalent; IOSH is desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in manufacturing, steel fabrication, galvanizing or heavy industry.
• Experience with risk assessment methodologies and safety management systems is crucial.
• Strong incident investigation, reporting and communication skills.
• UAE driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive workplace risk assessments and implement mitigation.
• Develop and maintain HSE policies to ISO 45001/14001 and UAE regulations.
• Perform site inspections, safety audits, and PTW activities for compliance.
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE laws, Civil Defense, and Free Zone rules.
• Investigate accidents and near misses; prepare reports and corrective actions.
• Monitor PPE use and safe work practices; enforce site safety requirements.
• Develop emergency plans, drills, and fire safety procedures.
• Deliver toolbox talks and HSE training to promote safety culture.
• Manage hazardous waste and environmental compliance.
• Coordinate with Safety Officers and Production to close audit findings.
• Maintain HSE documentation and records.
• Support client audits and ADNOC-related inspections.
• Review practices and drive continuous safety improvements.
