Job summary

Secret Gardens LLC is seeking a dedicated HSE & Accommodation Manager to oversee health, safety, and accommodation operations across landscaping and pool projects in the UAE. You will lead safety programs, conduct inspections, manage PPE use, and coordinate safety inductions and trainings for workers.

The role also covers managing staff accommodations, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and maintaining records and incident investigations. Strong communication with PMs and HR is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have strong HSE knowledge and experience in construction/landscaping environments.
• Experience coordinating accommodation facilities and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure HSE compliance across landscaping, pool construction, maintenance, and project sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify hazards, unsafe practices, and required corrective actions.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and safety awareness training for workers.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with company HSE procedures.
• Prepare and maintain Risk Assessments, Method Statements, JSA/JHA, inspection checklists, and HSE reports.
• Monitor safe working practices for excavation, lifting, working at height, electrical works, hot works, confined spaces, chemical handling, and other high-risk activities.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of pool chemicals, fertilizers, pesticides, and other hazardous materials.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Foremen, and workers to maintain safe working conditions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE HSE and accommodation requirements.
• Manage and monitor company labour accommodations and ensure they are maintained in a safe, clean, hygienic, and suitable condition.
• Conduct regular accommodation inspections and prepare inspection reports.
• Monitor room allocation, occupancy, cleanliness, maintenance, sanitation, pest control, fire safety, and general housekeeping.
• Coordinate with the Accommodation/Facilities team and management regarding maintenance and repair requirements.
• Ensure fire extinguishers, emergency exits, fire alarms, first-aid facilities, and other safety equipment are properly maintained.
• Monitor accommodation-related complaints and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate accommodation records, occupancy lists, room allocations, and inspection records.
• Ensure employees follow accommodation rules and take appropriate action for violations in coordination with HR.
• Coordinate with HR, Administration, Transport, and Maintenance teams for accommodation-related requirements.
• Ensure accommodation facilities remain compliant with company standards and applicable UAE regulations.
