Job summary

Electra seeks a Project HSE support specialist to ensure safe conditions on GCC projects. You will conduct site inspections, briefings and risk assessments, enforce PTW and regulatory requirements, and coordinate with site teams and contractors on HSE matters.

You will maintain HSE records, support emergency drills, and participate in incident investigations to drive continuous safety improvements across events and construction activities.

Qualifications

• Experience applying UAE/Abu Dhabi HSE regulations on sites.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and toolbox talks.
• Proven record of incident reporting and emergency drills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site HSE inspections and identify unsafe acts/conditions.
• Ensure compliance with Risk Assessments, Method Statements and PTW.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Monitor PPE compliance and safe working practices.
• Report incidents, near misses and support investigations.
• Maintain daily HSE records and documentation.
• Coordinate with management and contractors on HSE matters.
• Provide HSE support during project activities and site build-up/dismantling.

To provide project-based HSE support, ensure compliance with company and legal requirements, andmaintainsafe working conditions at the project site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site HSE inspections and identify unsafe acts/conditions.
• Ensure compliance with approved Risk Assessments, Method Statements and PTW requirements.
• Conduct site induction, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Monitor PPE compliance and safe working practices.
• Monitor work-at-height, lifting, electrical, hot-workand other high-risk activities.
• Report incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions and support investigations.
• Follow up corrective actions and close HSE observations.
• Maintain daily HSE records, inspection reports and other required documentation.
• Support emergency preparedness and participate in drills when required.
• Coordinate with site management, supervisors,workers and contractors on HSE matters.
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE/Abu Dhabi HSE requirements and client/project standards.
• Provide HSE support during project activities, including installation, construction, event build-up/dismantling or other assigned works.

• You will perform all tasks set forth by safety and environmental regulations and thus cooperate with Electra to ensure a working environment and condition that do not pose any risks in terms of health, safety and environment to others.
