Job summary

Electra is seeking a project-based HSE support professional in the UAE to ensure regulatory compliance and safe working conditions across site activities, including installation, construction, and event build-up/dismantling. The role requires conducting inductions, toolbox talks, and incident investigations, while coordinating with management and contractors to maintain high safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with approved Risk Assessments, Method Statements and PTW requirements.

• Monitor PPE compliance and safe working practices.
• Monitor work-at-height, lifting, electrical, hot-work and other high-risk activities.
• Report incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions and support investigations.
• Follow up corrective actions and close HSE observations.
• Maintain daily HSE records, inspection reports and other required documentation.
• Support emergency preparedness and participate in drills when required.
• Coordinate with site management, supervisors, workers and contractors on HSE matters.
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE/Abu Dhabi HSE requirements and client/project standards.
• Provide HSE support during project activities, including installation, construction, event build-up/dismantling or other assigned works.

Job description

To provide project-based HSE support, ensure compliance with company and legal requirements, and maintain safe working conditions at the project site.

Key Responsibilities

• You will perform all tasks set forth by safety and environmental regulations and thus cooperate with Electra to ensure a working environment and condition that do not pose any risks in terms of health, safety and environment to others.
