Job summary

Currie & Brown is seeking an HSE Manager to join our UAE team, working across Dubai and Abu Dhabi projects. The role requires immediate availability and willingness to travel within the UAE.

You will support the QHSE lead in implementing and maintaining Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental systems, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, and contributing to project QHSE meetings. Strong English and IT skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with ISO9001, ISO45001 and ISO14001 standards and their applications.
• Proven ability to perform system audits against these standards.
• Experience with site inspections, measurements and construction testing techniques.
• Proven track record in writing and reviewing QHSE procedures or plans.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English.
• Proficient with MS Office and business productivity tools.
• Civil or Architectural engineering degree (preferred).
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Safety qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the QHSE lead in implementing and maintaining the company’s QHSE systems.
• Verify compliance with legislation and system requirements across projects.
• Participate in QHSE project meetings related to Quality and HSE.
• Help raise safety mindset among site teams to minimize risks.
• Provide advice and input to client projects.
• Review and comment on QHSE site reports.
• Raise reports to Delivery Management Team and client QHSE Lead as required.
