Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced HSE professional for on-site roles in the UAE. The position focuses on managing safety across major infrastructure projects, including tunneling and rail works, with emphasis on risk assessment, incident investigation and regulatory compliance.

Diploma or degree in Engineering, OSH, or Environmental Science is required. On-site onboarding and a comprehensive benefits package reflect our commitment to safe, sustainable project delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of HSE on major infrastructure projects.
• Experience in tunneling works (TBM/NATM/Cut & Cover).
• Knowledge of HSE legislation, risk assessment, permit-to-work.
• Experience with incident investigations and hazard identification.
• Rail/metro/rail infrastructure project exposure is desirable.
• Strong commitment to safety program development and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, performs basic and routine duties in environmental, health and safety to meet ES&H standards.
• Assists in developing, implementing and maintaining safety and health programs.
• Monitors hazards and potential diseases in the work area.
• Helps investigate accidents, injuries and workplace hazards.
• Participates in recommending process and equipment improvements to minimize hazards.
• Contributes to employee training and emergency preparedness.
