Job summary

Emirates Panel Company Trading LLC in Dubai seeks a seasoned Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) professional to create, enact, and update safety programs in compliance with government regs and company standards. You will ensure site staff follow policies and lead safety audits and training.

Responsibilities include implementing OSHMS, conducting risk assessments, coordinating with authorities, investigating incidents, and developing risk-control strategies to safeguard workers and assets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Occupational Safety and relevant certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH) are required.
  • Knowledge in scaffolding erection, dismantling, inspection; first aid; fire warden; environmental training; ergonomics; rescue training.

Responsibilities

  • Review and update policies in line with legislation and government requirements.
  • Implement and maintain OSHMS to ensure safety awareness and compliance.
  • Inspect sites/factories, conduct risk assessments, and address non-conformities.
  • Oversee installations, maintenance, and safe disposal of substances.
  • Advise management on injury prevention, public safety, legal compliance, PPE, hazards, housekeeping, and first aid.
  • Maintain safety documentation, certificates, memos, and project HSE plans.
  • Coordinate with Dubai Civil Defence & Municipality for approvals, renewals, and shipments.
  • Conduct testing, stop unsafe acts, and investigate incidents/claims.
  • Monitor site activities per HSE plan, lead orientations, trainings, audits, and inspections.
  • Prepare daily safety reports and maintain project documentation for accident prevention.
  • Standardize HSE practices and develop risk-control strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and safeguard organizational interests.

Qualifications

  • Valid UAE driving license
Years of Experience
  • At least 5 years experience in the construction field, preferably in the UAE and the Gulf region
