Job description

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures and safety plans on site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and unsafe practices.
• Ensure compliance with UAE health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training for workers.
• Monitor work permits, risk assessments and method statement compliance.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses and prepare reports.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment by all site personnel.
• Coordinate with project teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain HSE records, inspection reports and safety documentation.
• Monitor emergency procedures and ensure site readiness.
• Conduct safety audits and follow up on safety observations.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the project.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as HSE Officer in construction projects.
• Experience in high-rise buildings, residential, and villa projects preferred.
• Knowledge of UAE construction safety standards and regulations.
• NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA certification is preferred.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to conduct safety training and site inspections.
• UAE construction experience is an advantage.
