Job summary

Our client in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced HR Governance Lead to review and streamline HR policies, ensuring compliance with labour laws and internal standards. You will shape salary frameworks, promotions, and career paths while aligning expatriate programs with corporate policies.

You will partner with HR and HQ to standardize processes, drive continuous improvement, and enhance the employee experience across international operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in Human Resources; international experience desirable.
• Experience in HR policies review, job evaluation, promotion frameworks, and expatriate mobility.

Responsibilities

• Review, update, and streamline HR policies, procedures, guidelines, and HR documentation.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, internal standards, and HR best practices.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and improve HR processes and employee experience.
• Develop governance frameworks and HR operating procedures for consistency and transparency.
• Develop and implement structured salary range frameworks aligned with job grades and compensation principles.
• Establish guidelines for recruitment offers, salary positioning, promotions, and career progression.
• Analyze compensation data to ensure competitiveness and internal equity.
• Design and maintain compensation tools, bands, and decision matrices.
• Develop HR governance principles and supporting documentation.
• Partner with HR, management, and HQ to align local practices with corporate policies.
• Review and enhance expatriate management policies and processes.
• Support mobility activities including onboarding, relocation, allowances, benefits, repatriation, and policy administration.
• Promote a consistent, employee-focused expatriate lifecycle management approach.
• Recommend improvements to expatriate programs based on best practices.
