Job Description: HR Generalist Manager (Industry preference Oil & Gas / Commodities Trading)

Location : Dubai, UAE

Salary : Up to AED 30,000 per month depending on candidates experience levels

Industry preference : Oil & Gas / Commodities Trading

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team in the Oil & Gas and Commodities Trading sector. The role requires strong knowledge of UAE labor law, general HR practices, and preferably experience within DMCC regulations. Recruitment will account for around 20% of responsibilities, with the primary focus on broader HR strategy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with UAE Labor Law and company HR policies.
  • Manage HR operations including payroll, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.
  • Provide HR guidance and support to management and staff across all HR-related matters.
  • Maintain and update HR documentation in line with DMCC requirements.
  • Lead recruitment for key roles (approx. 20% of workload), including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Implement HR best practices to support employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture.
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning.
  • Handle disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution in compliance with UAE regulations.
  • Support training and development initiatives to build employee capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 7 to 10 years of HR experience in the UAE in HR Generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor law; prior DMCC knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle sensitive HR matters with confidentiality.
