Job summary

Abbott in Dubai is hiring a HQ Financial Analyst on a fixed-term 1-year contract to support the HF HQ Finance team in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and performance tracking. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow in finance.

You will maintain HF HQ financial databases, build dashboards (revenues by country, monthly performance, GM tracker), automate templates, perform independent checks on close and forecast outputs, and provide analytics across close, LBE and MDD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field required.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

This is a fixed term contract role for 1 year

The Financial Analyst will support the HF HQ Finance team in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and performance tracking. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn and grow in the field of finance.

What You'll Do-

• Assist in maintaining HF HQ financial databases.
• Build the dashboard suite — revenue by country, monthly performance, GM tracker
• Automation of recurring templates and submissions
• Automation of Geo template consolidation
• Independent checks on close and forecast output before submission
• Analytics support across the close, LBE and MDD cycles
• Maintains the automation and check library as processes change
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate information and timely submissions.
• Support in the preparation of presentations for senior management.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and projects as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Prior internship or work experience in finance is a plus.
